Our Policies

  • Privacy Policy – Confidential information, such as the name on credit card, card number, expiration date, or other information about you that we obtain in connection with providing a product or service, is not collected nor stored on this website.

  • Registration – A minimum deposit of 50% of tuition may be made, with the balance due prior to the start of training. All courses are required to be paid at the time of training. Unpaid balances will be subject to the cancellation policy.

  • Cancellation — The client will provide Costello Safety Consulting a 24-hour notice of all training that needs to be canceled. Training that is canceled after the 24 hours window will be charged a 50% percent cancellation fee. This cancellation fee is 50% of the total fees charged for the class that is being canceled based on the agreed estimate.

  • Insufficient Enrollment – We reserve the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment. In the unlikely event, we will make every attempt to contact you. Enrollees in these courses will be given the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

  • No shows and refunds – The client will provide Costello Safety Consulting a headcount of students that will be attending training 48 hours prior to the training start time. For students that “no-show” training, the client will be charged a 50% no-show fee. The students’ no-show fee can be reapplied to a later training date. The client will receive 100% refund of fees if the client notifies Costello Safety Consulting 24 hours or more prior to the start of training, that training needs to be canceled. The client will be billed 50% of training fees if the client notifies us less than 23 hours before the start of training.

  • Rescheduling/Transfers – The client may reschedule/transfer if you provide Costello Safety Consulting with the dates of the requested reschedule/transfers and submit to Costello Safety Consulting 24 hours before the start of training. The reschedule/transfer must be completed within 30 days from the original training date, and a reschedule/transferring fee of $25.00 per student is charged.

  • Absence/Tardiness – That student that misses more than 10% of the class time without prior approval will be dropped from the course and no refund will be issued.

  • Fees/Interest – $35.00 fee for all returned checks/debit charges. 24% APR will be charged for all invoices not paid in full within 30 days of the invoicing date.

  • Pricing – Prices, including back-ordered items, are subject to change without notice, and invoicing will be based on prices in effect at the time of shipment. Products, prices, and photographs are subject to change without notice.

  • Returns and Exchanges – If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order, call us for shipping instructions and return it within 30 days of the sale date for full credit. You must contact Costello Safety Consulting for confirmation and shipping instructions prior to returning any product. All returns must be shipped prepaid, in resalable condition, and are subject to inspection for damage or misuse prior to issuance of a credit or refund. Items not returned within 30 days of receipt will be subject to restocking charges. Special order and drop-ship items are subject to the prior approval and the returned goods policy of the manufacturer. Items with custom artwork or imprints and custom-ordered locks are not returnable unless the problem is due to our error.



Release of Liability and Indemnity Agreement:


  1. I acknowledge the activity is a physical activity that carries with it the potential for death, serious injury, and property loss. The risks include but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, conditions, facilities, temperature, weather, equipment, actions of other people including but not limited to, other participants, and leaders. These risks are present for all participants as well as leaders.

  2. I hereby assume all of the risks of participating in this activity. Including, but not limited to, negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, dangerous or defective equipment or property, and/or negligence of other participants.

  3. I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in the activity, and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person.

  4. To the fullest extent allowed by law, and in consideration of the right to participate in activities offered by Costello Safety Consulting, I hereby agree to RELEASE, INDEMNIFY and HOLD HARMLESS Costello Safety Consulting, its directors, officers, instructors, and members, from any claims resulting from any loss or damage suffered by me, or family member that I bring on Costello Safety Consulting activity.

  5. I further agree to pay any and all legal fees and costs that may arise from any actions, claims, or lawsuits arising from participating in this activity, or which may arise from any actions to enforce the terms of this RELEASE.

  6. I hereby consent to receive medical treatment which may be deemed advisable in the event of the injury, accident, and/or illness during this activity.

  7. The terms of this RELEASE shall also be binding as to any other persons, including all family members, heirs, executors, or administrators, and including any minors that may accompany me.

  8. I hereby certify that I have read this document and I fully understand its contents and sign it of my own free will. I understand that this is a binding contract that is intended to provide a comprehensive release of liability. I am legally competent to sign this RELEASE or my parent or guardian has also read and signed this RELEASE.

  9. If I am signing on behalf of a minor, in addition to the above, I also agree to RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND INDEMNIFY the entities named above for any claims of the minor. I agree to be responsible for any medical expenses incurred by the minor. A PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN MUST SIGN FOR ALL PERSONS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE.

  10. All participants have a personal responsibility for the safety of themselves and others when participating in an activity.
